The Perch

Usually every morning I see the crows perching on this dead birch tree. This always catches my eye. Many birds perch here.

I also noticed these tracks.

Early CedarWaxwings

One morning I noticed that my flowering crabtree was filled with Cedar Waxwings. A bit early for them. We've had some really strange weather days. Warm one day and then cold the next.
I'd say there was at least 40 of these waxwings taking advantage of the crabapples that were thawing.
