I received notification from the Photo Contest I entered and I was not chosen "this time". I did go and view the winners and some of the photographs on display and I thought were very good and others I thought, "What is so special about that" but it all depends on who is viewing them I suppose. It was a fun experience and I will definitely do again.
I have recently added accessories to my Nikon which will improve my pictures a bit.
I did enter another contest with People - Places - Plants quite awhile ago and the results will be mentioned in the Winter edition. So we will see about that one! You never know. In the meantime,
I will be distributing my card packets to area businesses.

Don't get discouraged. You are right. Contests are tough because it is all so subjective, subject to whatever eye (mind and preconceived notions) the judges have. Get your cards out and keep looking for places to display some of your work. The more people who see it, the better change of making a business out of it. You go girl. Patty
